View this post on Instagram Our latest arrivals are a juvenile male sparrowhawk, a young pigeon who can’t fly and a female blackbird with cat injuries. The sparrowhawk flew into a window and stunned himself, and some kind people put him in a box and kept him quiet and calm for a couple of hours to recover - when they released him he flew off but seemed disorientated and flew in front of a van! Remarkably he seems okay except for a bad concussion so he’s on pain relief/ anti-inflammatories and tube feeds until he starts eating by himself.
