Help us to help them
Be a transporter
Can you collect birds and drive them to us or to the vet? We put out an alert when a bird needs to be transported - if you are free you reply, if you are not you ignore it! It's as simple as that!
Fundraising
Can you help with stalls, tombolas and car boot sales?
Can you make crafts for us to sell, or write letters to companies asking for donations?
Hand-rear birds
Can you look after baby birds in your home or garden? Or can you spare a few hours a week to help out other volunteers?
Build aviaries
Can you make simple aviary panels, sick pens or shelter boxes for our birds? We will supply the wood and mesh.
Adopt birds
Can you give a permanent home to disabled birds? We occasionally have pigeons, ducks, small birds and more looking for a forever home.
Litter and pollution
Be aware of the impact your actions have on wildlife.
Donate goods
We always need bird food, including seed, cat or dog food and fish, goods to sell at car boot sales, unwanted guinea-pig or rabbit hutches, runs and cages and more. We also use old stamps and coins.
